ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE: Learn more about the Zone Proxima Math experience in the About section and its subsections.
HOW IT WORKS. In the How it Works subsection you can watch VERY SHORT videos of Zone Proxima Math in action. Here you'll watch a parent and child during their Zone Proxima Math classes. You'll get a feel for the Zone Proxima child -parent experience. You will see how Zone Proxima nourishes children and their parents with the positive values that lead to successful learning and fulfilling lives. In the main About section you can read what this child-parent dyad has to say about Zone Proxima Math learning.

Register for Group Classes
There are four steps to your registration for Zone Proxima unit group classes. Group Class Registration form submission is the first step.
Use the Step 1 Group Class Registration Form to begin Zone Proxima Math registration for one eight-week unit, two one-hour classes per week. Group classes consist of ten (10) child-parent dyads.
One eight-week unit with 2 one-hour Zoom classes per week. Each week builds on the previous week.
One parent/guardian registers for the child-parent dyad (one adult and one child).
ADULT. The adult attends every class to learn how to teach Zone Proxima Math. Then the adult teaches the week's content to their child.
CHILD. Children rotate Zone Proxima class participation. Each child has the opportunity to participate twice (two classes) within the eight-week unit.
Child-Parent Dyad. The adult conducts Zone Proxima Math independently with the child three times each week, applying that week's lesson.

Register for One-on-One Classes
There are four steps to your registration for Zone Proxima one-on-one classes. The One-on-One Registration form submission is the first step.
Use the Step 1 One-on-One Registration Form to begin Zone Proxima Math registration for one-on-one (one adult-child dyad) classes, two one-hour classes per week. One parent/guardian registers for the child-parent dyad (one adult and one child). The adult attends every class and conducts Zone Proxima Math with the child three times each week.
-INTRODUCTION. Adults new to Zone Proxima Math attend introductory classes.
-POST-INTRODUCTION. Once adults complete training, adults attend the first hour session of the week and the parent and child attend the second weekly session together.
-RETURNING PARTICIPANTS. Returning participants may skip the introductory sessions and begin with the POST-INTRODUCTION session schedule.

Register for Best of Both: Hybrid (Group Parent Class and Individual Child-Parent Dyad Classes)
Best of Both combines one-on-one child-parent dyad mentorship with the economy of grouped parent classes.
There are four steps to your registration for Zone Proxima Best of Both: Hybrid classes. The Best of Both: Hybrid Registration form submission is the first step.
Use the Step 1 Best of Both Hybrid Class Registration Form to begin Zone Proxima Math registration to enroll in the Best of Both: Hybird Model. You will need to organize a cohort and select a cohort lead before you register. Hybrid cohorts may contain from two (2) to a maximum of ten (10) child-parent dyads.**
You are registering for one eight-week unit with 2 one-hour Zoom classes per week. Each week builds on the previous week.
One parent/guardian registers for the child-parent dyad (one adult and one child).
ADULT. The adult attends every class to learn how to teach Zone Proxima Math. Then the adult teaches the week's content to their child.*
CHILD. Together, the child and parent attend the weekly second session.*
Child-Parent Dyad. The adult conducts Zone Proxima Math independently with the child three times each week, applying that week's lesson.
*First time participating child-parent dyads only: the parent will attend the first three introductory sessions without the child. The child will begin participation during the private child-parent lesson at the fourth session: the second session of week two.
Best of Both: Hybrid registration form.
