Zone Proxima provides home school math group courses, one-on-one classes, and the hybrid BEST-OF-BOTH (group class for the adults and one-on-one for the individual child-parent dyads). In addition, Zone Proxima offers customized programs and consulting for groups, organizations, and schools.
There are many moving parts to Zone Proxima Math. This website may contain details that deviate from individual PDF information. ~Group Class Registration
There are four steps to Zone Proxima Math Group Class Registration.
Use the Step 1 Group Class Registration Form to begin Zone Proxima Math registration for group classes. Group classes consist of ten (10) child-parent dyads.
One eight-week unit with 2 one-hour Zoom classes per week. Each week builds on the previous week.
One parent/guardian registers for the child-parent dyad (one adult and one child).
ADULT. The adult attends every class to learn how to teach Zone Proxima Math. Then the adult teaches the week's content to their child.
CHILD. Children rotate Zone Proxima class participation. Each child has the opportunity to participate twice (two classes) within the eight-week unit.
Child-Parent Dyad. The adult conducts Zone Proxima Math independently with the child three times each week, applying that week's lesson.

This is Step 2 of your registration process. Registration requires return of all three forms: Terms of Service, Adult Participation Permission, and Child Participation Permission.

The Learning Materials and Supplies file is an annotated list of instructional materials required for participation in Zone Proxima Math. The list includes vendor and pricing information (updated December, 2022). Please purchase your personal learning materials and supplies. They are required.
REQUIRED: Zone Proxima Math Learning Materials and Supplies
REQUIRED: Submit the materials received form once you receive all of your materials.
Group Class Step 4. Request Invoice and Pay Registration Fee.
Please complete steps 1-3. Then move on to this step.
REQUIRED: Click for the request an invoice form. We will email to you the link to pay your registration fee. You will pay using your credit card and a secure link through Zone Proxima's financial institution.
Once Zone Proxima receives all of your completed forms from Steps 1-3 and processes your payment, you have reserved a Zone Proxima class seat for you and your child.
If there is space in the upcoming eight-week unit, you and your child will reserve one of 10 child-parent seats.
If all seats in all unit periods are full, you will be placed in order of receipt on the reserved waiting list for the first available eight week unit session.
~Group Class Dates/Times
Unit sessions run for eight weeks, two class periods per week of one hour. Unit sessions are consecutive. Please begin with Unit 1 (introduction) followed by Unit 2, Unit 3, etc.
The next session of group class units will begin on January 7, 2025.
A class period will not run unless it is filled by ten (10) paid reservations. Zone Proxima will notify enrollees of a class assignment once ten class seats are filled. Class periods enrollments will be filled from the reservation list, in the order in which Zone Proxima LLC received registration payments. When a class period is filled with ten seats (child-parent dyads), the next available class period time slot will open for enrollment, and Zone Proxima staff will fill the ten seats for that class period.
Group Class Period Times
Class periods will be filled in order, from the first session in the morning to the evening session. Zone Proxima assigns class sessions periods. Enrollees can not select class session times.

~One-on-One Classes
A limited number of one-on-one sessions are available each week. Two one-on-one one-hour classes per week are required.
The introductory one-on-one sessions are adult-only sessions. The number of adult class meeting will be determined by the adult's progress. Adults who have successfully completed unit 1 group class do not require introductory class meetings.
After successful completion of the introductory class meetings, the first class in a week is for the adult only. This class meeting will introduce the parent to the week's instruction. The second meeting in a week will be co-taught by the adult and a Zone Proxima mentor. The child will attend the week's second session.
There are four steps to Zone Proxima Math One-on-One Class Registration.
One-on-One Class Step 1. Registration
Please complete and submit the one-on-one classes registration form.
One-on-One Class Steps 2-3. Agreements and Materials
Complete Steps 2-3, as listed above under the Group Classes section. Note: Returning participants whose documents are on file with Zone Proxima may skip items 2 and 3. However, it is understood the terms of service agreement is modified to accommodate the characteristics of one-on-one instruction as described within the Zone Proxima website pages.

~Best of Both: Hybrid (Group Parent Class and Individual Child-Parent Dyad Classes)
Best of Both combines one-on-one child-parent dyad mentorship with the economy of grouped parent classes.
One eight-week unit with 2 one-hour Zoom classes per week. Each week builds on the previous week.
One parent/guardian registers for the child-parent dyad (one adult and one child).
ADULT. The adult attends every class to learn how to teach Zone Proxima Math. Then the adult teaches the week's content to their child.*
CHILD. Together, the child and parent attend the weekly second session.*
Child-Parent Dyad. The adult conducts Zone Proxima Math independently with the child three times each week, applying that week's lesson.
*First time participating child-parent dyads only: the parent will attend the first three introductory sessions without the child. The child will begin participation during the private child-parent lesson at the fourth session: the second session of week two.

Use the Step 1 Best of Both Hybrid Class Registration Form to begin Zone Proxima Math registration to enroll in the Best of Both: Hybird Model. Group sessions consist of two to ten (10) child-parent dyads (two to ten adults and one child of each cohort adult).

**Best of Both - Hybrid parent groups self-organize their cohort and select a leader for scheduling, invoicing, and communication coordination. You may email Zone Proxima Math if you need assistance forming a cohort.

Note: Each cohort member must submit documents required for steps 2 and 3. Cohort registration is incomplete until all required documents and forms are received by Zone Proxima.

Customized Programs and Consulting
TBD based upon scope of project. Submit inquiry form to begin project planning.
Group Classes
$320 + processing fees for an eight-week unit. Units consist of two classes per week.**** Class periods seat 10 parent-child dyads. Ten enrollments are required to run a group class.
One-on-One Classes
$200/hour + processing fees, with a two-hour minimum (one week during which 2 one-hour classes are attended).
Best of Both - The Hybrid Model
Tuition (see below) + processing fee for eight weeks consisting of 1 one-hour group adult class and one child-parent dyad class per week.
First time enrollees: The first three sessions are adult-only. That is, adults attend two sessions during week 1. Week 2 begins the normal weekly schedule of one adult class and one child-parent class.
